The remains of Lauren Bonvillian, 33, and her four-year-old daughter Savannah Bagley were discovered on April 15, 2024, following their disappearance the previous day.
The mother and daughter, who were last seen leaving Corsicana, Texas en route to Robinson in a blue Toyota Corolla, were found deceased in a single-vehicle rollover crash southwest of Mount Calm.
Tragic Discovery by Texas DPS Troopers
According to the b (DPS) Troopers, the vehicle was located around 7 pm on SH-31 near County Line Road.
The car had left the road and overturned while traveling westbound1. Tragically, both Lauren and Savannah were pronounced dead at the scene.
Lauren’s mother, Kimberly Graham, confirmed their passing on Facebook, expressing her gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers. “Our two beautiful girls have gone to heaven,” she wrote.
Community Mourns the Loss
The Robinson Police Department shared their condolences in a Facebook post, stating,
“We are saddened to announce a tragic ending to this case. Lauren and Savannah were deceased late this afternoon in Hill County as the result of a one-vehicle crash. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and everyone affected by this tragedy.
“ A GoFundMe campaign was initiated to support Lauren’s boyfriend and Savannah’s father, Dustin Bagley, in the aftermath of this devastating loss.

Dangerous Road Conditions Across Texas
This tragic incident occurred amidst dangerous road conditions across Texas due to icy weather. Roads all across East Texas started to get icy on Sunday leading to crashes and road closures throughout the area.
TxDOT Tyler reported that ice was accumulating on bridges at State Highway 135 over I-20 and State Highway 31 over I-20.
In Lindale, a vehicle rolled over around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday on I-20 past FM 849 due to the icy conditions.
Officer Jenny Wells with the Lindale Police Department warned,
“The roads have only gotten more slippery, they’ve got spots where you can’t see that there’s ice, there’s ice. We’ve gotten some wetness today and when people are driving over it, it starts to thaw and then that cold wind hits it and it’s freezing it immediately again.”
Authorities Urge Caution
Authorities are urging drivers to exercise extreme caution on the roads during these hazardous weather conditions.
Jeff Williford, Public Information Officer for the TxDOT Tyler District, advised,
“Roadways can be used, but they are not for normal driving conditions. So, our message is going to be if you don’t have to get out, stay home.”
